Jennifer Luke is the founder of STEPS for Kids, a program that teaches social skills through creating and performing a theater production. STEPS for Kids is designed for elementary school students to increase their confidence, improve their ability to problem solve, and increase their social skills through a fun and active approach. The program is great for children who feel shy and nervous speaking in front of others, making friends or for those who need additional opportunities to interact in a cooperative environment. Children have a blast creating a play they develop and are excited to show off their newfound skills for their parents at the end of the session.
Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and her Masters of Social Work at Simmons College. Her experience in social work spans 20 years focusing on children and families. She resides in Shrewsbury with her husband and two children, ages 9 and 6. She is active in her community and volunteers her time in many capacities including President of the PTO and Girl Scout Leader.
